The GR8 International Car Show in Belgium this year? Yeah… safe to say it turned into a full-on Liberty Walk takeover.

From the moment the doors opened, you could feel it—Liberty Walk builds were everywhere. Not just one or two standout cars, but a full-on wave of LB madness rolling in from across Europe. Different styles, different bases, but all carrying that unmistakable LBWK attitude.

What made it even bigger? Liberty Walk themselves pulled up from Japan, with Toshi and Scott on the ground, connecting with fans and owners who’ve been repping the brand hard across the continent. It wasn’t just a showcase—it felt like a proper meet-up of the community that’s grown around the culture.

And it wasn’t just about showing up—the Liberty Walk crew cleaned up when it came to awards. Multiple owners took home trophies across the weekend, but the standout moment had to be Imran securing Best of Show with his freshly unveiled Liberty Walk R34 GT-R Super Silhouette. Dropped for the first time at GR8, the car instantly drew crowds and didn’t let up all day.

And the energy? Unreal. Crowds packed around the cars all day, phones out, cameras rolling, people hyped to see so many builds in one place. You could tell this wasn’t just another stop on the calendar—it was a moment.

GR8 2026 proved one thing: Liberty Walk Europe isn’t just growing—it’s dominating. And if this show is anything to go by, the takeover is only getting started.
