AC Schnitzer alloy wheels are made to the highest standards, rigorously tested and TUV approved for your safety.
The wheels have a really important role: they are the postcard-sized connection between the vehicle and the road. They play a key role in the driving and propulsion as well as the deceleration – i.e. braking – of your vehicle. This gives the wheels a key role. Anyone who develops and sells wheels therefore has a great responsibility. We are aware of this responsibility; we have internalised it and implement it with every new development.
All AC Schnitzer wheel sets are tuned in multi-stage driving tests in traffic and on race tracks. Only after successful test runs the wheels are released for sale. All AC Schnitzer wheel sets are delivered fully assembled and balanced. They are subject to a two-year manufacturer’s warranty. The scope of delivery includes mounting materials such as adapters and wheel bolts as well as the homologation certificate (with the exception of marked wheel sets for export).
Our philosophy is simple: “Better fast than hard”. Only when a suspension set has achieved optimum performance combined with ride comfort in all driving conditions can it be offered as original AC Schnitzer suspension.

“Form follows function“ – This guiding principle is systematically applied by the engineers and designers of the aerodynamic components for BMW vehicles.
AC Schnitzer aerodynamic components pick up and subtly emphasise the styling lines of the base vehicle, while giving the body striking new contours. At the same time however, they have a real effect: They increase downforce on the front and/or rear axles, to ensure better ground adhesion.
Only high quality composite materials, such as PU Rim or carbon, are used in production of our AC Schnitzer aerodynamic components. Because only these materials meet our high quality standard.
PUR, ASA or Carbon: at AC Schnitzer, all draft designs originate from a true Italian artist: Michele Viandante, who has been Head Designer here for many years. Naturally his designs are not only beautiful but must prove their suitability: for example, many parts are function-tested in the wind tunnel.
Only when all tests have been passed and the homologation certificate has been issued are AC Schnitzer aerodynamic components released for sale worldwide.
Engine tuning and performance upgrades have a long tradition at AC Schnitzer. To be on the safe side however, we prefer not to extract the maximum possible power but instead ensure greater robustness, which means a longer life of the engine.
Many of our performance upgrades are therefore designed for an increase in torque rather than an increase in horsepower. Because torque is what you feel when for example you’re “pressed back in the seat” on pulling away.
The performance upgrade consists of a control unit for retrofitting into the vehicle. The control unit ensures that the data is processed depending on the speed and accelerator pedal position and the values for boost pressure, track pressure and air mass are passed on to the standard engine control unit. The parameters are slightly increased by the AC Schnitzer performance increase.
This results in a model-dependent power increase of up to 20% of the engine and increases the efficiency of the engine.
During development, it is checked in which speed range the highest torque increase is achieved. This is followed by a controlled reduction of the changed parameters for the high speed range >5000 rpm. This prevents the engine from overheating during long, fast journeys.
The standard protection parameters for the engine are retained with the AC Schnitzer performance upgrade.

Performance upgrade installed – what happens to the warranty?
For all AC Schnitzer performance upgrades, AC Schnitzer provides a warranty depending on your home country up to 5 years and up to 120,000 km mileage on the assemblies moved by the engine. For M models, this warranty ends at 80,000 km. The warranty is free of charge for our customers. We also offer our subassembly warranty for our AC Schnitzer silencers. If you wish, you can optionally secure the installation of an exhaust system with it. This gives you reassurance in the event of an incident.
Conversion using AC Schnitzer components does not affect the fundamental warranty obligation of BMW AG in relation to the complete vehicle. The BMW warranty can only be excluded in the special case of a claim which is directly attributable to a conversion. BMW vehicles upgraded with AC Schnitzer components are therefore not automatically excluded from the warranty. We would be pleased to supply corresponding information on request.
AC Schnitzer offer a range of tailored design upgrades to enhance the visual appearance of the vehicle interior, adding improved style and functionality.
The steering wheel is the control element with which you have every driving situation safely under control. That’s why the ergonomics of steering wheels are so particularly important.
The rim of the AC Schnitzer sports steering wheel comes in a fine mix of perforated black nappa leather and black Alcantara, joined by a light grey cross-stitch seam. With recessed grips for the driver’s thumbs and the light grey motorsport centre indicator with AC Schnitzer logo, this steering wheel inspired by motorsports gives enhanced control and a premium visual and tactile experience.
Shift paddles noticeably increase the vehicle comfort. In addition, they also ensure greater safety on the road. Thanks to the shift paddles, drivers can now keep their hands on the steering wheel when shifting gears; their eyes remain on the road.
The AC Schnitzer paddle sets are larger than their standard counterparts, which results in even safer operation and even better ergonomics. This makes them a good investment in your own safety and that of other road users.
The AC Schnitzer paddle sets are lasered from 2 mm thick aluminium. They are manufactured with high precision by CNC-controlled finishing. The black anodizing in combination with the red accents, which are applied using the screen printing process, creates a very sporty appearance, which is naturally colourfast and abrasion-resistant. The haptics of the aluminium AC Schnitzer paddle shifters are significantly improved in comparison to the standard parts, which are made of plastics. The AC Schnitzer shift paddle sets are delivered in a high-quality gift box.
Modern, timeless design paired with precise workmanship: The matt-anodized AC Schnitzer aluminium pedal sets for manual and automatic vehicles are milled from high-quality aluminium and give the interior an exclusive, sporty character. The replaceable rubber inserts, made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), give the driver a secure grip, even in wet conditions. The AC Schnitzer aluminium pedals are delivered in a high-quality gift box and they suit with many other AC Schnitzer aluminium interior components.
Original AC Schnitzer high performance silencers are made from stainless steel with different tailpipes. They all offer – especially in combination with an AC Schnitzer performance upgrade – a sporty, effective overall package. A sonorous sound (cars with petrol engines) and a sporty appearance are always scope of delivery.
With an original AC Schnitzer silencer specially designed for your engine, you benefit from an improved, more direct response as the exhaust gases are flowing quickly and the engine is free to develop its full power.
The improved flow of exhaust gases allows your car’s engine to work more efficiently and “breathe” properly. This can improve the engine performance. Even in the lower RPM ranges, the system emits a characteristic, sporting sonorous note.
Every vehicle undergoes separate sound development in the sound laboratory before the exhaust systems are tested in all possible rev ranges, both indoors and outside, and on a drive-by. The extensive test runs take place on race tracks and on public roads.
Before finalizing the resonance body, the underfloor of the model concerned is analyzed for construction space. Then the resonance body is defined precisely with all standard fixing points. These are then checked for all vehicle types and engine variants.
To obtain the best performance development for torque and power, it is important to ensure a reduction in exhaust backpressure and at the same time determine the optimum flow paths.
Last but not least, the development of the aerodynamics in the rear skirt region is optimally adapted to the exhaust system and tailpipe variants.
